Great sounding technique!!!............your sound is what i will be aiming for!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone here that commented. This kind of encouragement has me thinking getting started on something new. I have an idea, and it would be Doug 7 based - but I bet it will take me three or four months to pull it all togheter. As all of us know, none of this stuff is easy.

Just one more comment. I have everybody's Country Guitar lesson DVD's and downloads - probably the same ones most of you have. And if you are like me many of them sit in a pile and do not get a lot of use after the first watching. As I begin work on a new piece I have revisited all of them looking for some things to include. Damned if I do not always end up back with the Doug 7 stuff! I'm thinking I would like to incorporate some of the licks in the new "Magic of Jazz" DVD to what I am working on. I think it would be interesting to see if any of those licks could be put to a "Train" beat.
ReplyDeleteSo,"thanks Doug!"
where is the feel, robotic, just saying
ReplyDeleteHey Doug . I just received the Blues master class here in the UK. I've just had a quick look at it (due to work commitments) and I have to say it looks like I'll be spending some time with this.
ReplyDeleteFor little more than the cost of of a F2F guitar lesson, the purchase of this will provide you with great ideas. Nice one Doug!!
