One of the MOST common questions I am asked is about HOT country guitar rhythm. It's not something you see a lot of guitarist talking about or teaching, but it happens to be the most important area of your guitar playing.

I decided to go ahead and POUR OUT my VERY BEST on this video package. We will not only learn the mental techniques that are essential to playing but the HANDS ON physical methods and EVERYTHING you need to know to be the WELL-ROUNDED musician you want to be!

  1. Hey Doug,

Why no comments on this one? I thought this was one of the best and certainly most useful for playing out with your band mates.

I've been playing rhythm similarly for many years and in many styles, but I took away a slightly different take on it all from you in this vid. Great stuff. Rhythm playing is really where it's at.

    Best Regards, Mark Z

  2. Hi Doug,

I downloaded this video lesson this weekend and it is fabulous. I have been playing blues & rock for the past 20 years or so. I bought a black Fender Hot Rod vintage reissue last fall, but had not really been able to transition from rock & blues to country until I went through your lesson. Now i get what country guitar playing is all about ! What you said about this being the solid foundation to country hot lick & soloing is so true, these flow more easily now.
